Continuous beams are statically indeterminate, and measured support reactions are the quickest way to check moment distribution or the three-moment equation. We supply two-span and three-span beams on load cell supports, a fixed-end beam that measures fixing moments, a moment distribution frame with rotatable joints and a support settlement rig. Number of spans, whether you need fixing moments and settlement effects decide the choice. The behaviour covered matches continuous beam design in BS EN 1992-1-1 and IS 456, alongside steel practice in BS EN 1993-1-1.
