Uniaxial compressive strength and deformability are the core design inputs for tunnels, foundations, slopes and mine pillars. Our range runs from a portable 300 kN field frame and a digital 1000 kN tester to a 1500 kN modulus system with extensometers, a 2000 kN servo stiff frame for post-peak behaviour and a 3000 kN servo system for large or very strong specimens. Rock strength, specimen diameter and whether you need modulus or post-peak data decide the choice. Lab procedures generally follow ASTM D7012, with IS 9143 and IS 9221 used on Indian projects.
