Compaction on site is accepted or rejected on in-place density, so every earthworks crew needs a reliable way to measure it. We supply small and large pouring cylinder sand replacement sets, the ASTM sand cone, a 100 mm core cutter set and a drive cylinder kit with slide hammer. Soil type decides the method: core cutters suit cohesive soils without stones, sand replacement suits granular and stony fill. Kits are built to IS 2720 (Part 28), BS 1377-9 and ASTM D1556.
