Every earthworks specification is written against a maximum dry density and optimum moisture content, so compaction testing never stops on an active site. We offer standard and modified mould sets with hand rammers, electric automatic compactors, a programmable compactor for Proctor and CBR moulds, and the Harvard miniature apparatus. Daily test count, rammer type and mould sizes needed decide between manual and automatic. Rammer masses and drops follow ASTM D698, ASTM D1557 and BS EN 13286-2.
