Cutbacks, road tars and emulsions are still graded by how long a fixed volume takes to flow through an orifice. We offer a classic tar viscometer with 10 mm orifice, an automatic model with photoelectric timing, an Engler viscometer, an efflux viscometer for emulsions and an efflux viscometer for cutback and fluxed bitumen. The product you grade and the orifice your specification names decide the choice. The tar viscometer is built to IS 1206 Part 1, while the efflux cups follow BS EN 12846-1 and BS EN 13357.
