Penetration is still the first number most specifications ask for when grading paving bitumen. We offer a manual dial penetrometer, a digital model with automatic needle release, an automatic unit with a built-in 25 °C bath, a computerised research penetrometer and a refrigerated penetration bath for multi-temperature work. Sample throughput, whether you need penetration index, and how readings are recorded decide the choice. All models follow ASTM D5 and BS EN 1426, with IS 1203 needles and weights available.
